Terms and conditions

Note (prototype): Yellow-marked details are still missing and are maintained in the settings. Template – legal review recommended before publication.

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts between RHEINVERPACKUNG Karton und Verpackung ("we") and customers for the manufacture and delivery of custom-printed packaging and print products concluded via our online configurator, by quotation or otherwise. Deviating customer terms are not accepted unless we expressly agree in writing.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the configurator is not a binding offer but an invitation to order. By clicking "Order with obligation to pay" you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded with our order confirmation by e-mail, at the latest when production starts after your proof approval.

3. Print data and proof approval

You ensure that uploaded logos and graphics are free of third-party rights and indemnify us against third-party claims. We check print data for technical suitability (resolution, format), not for content. Before production you receive a digital proof for approval. With your approval you assume responsibility for spelling, positioning and colour specifications. Colour deviations between screen display and print are technically unavoidable and do not constitute a defect within the customary range.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros plus statutory VAT and shipping unless stated otherwise. Payment by credit card, PayPal, SEPA direct debit, prepayment or – for approved business customers – on account with a payment term of 14 days. For prepayment, production starts after receipt of payment.

5. Delivery

Delivery times are indicative and start with proof approval or receipt of payment. Delivery within Germany; other countries on request. Partial deliveries are permitted where reasonable for you.

6. Over- and under-delivery

Due to production, over- or under-deliveries of up to 10 % of the ordered run are customary and permitted; the delivered quantity is invoiced.

7. Retention of title

Goods remain our property until paid in full.

8. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. Minor deviations in colour, material, dimensions (± 2 mm) and grammage are material-related and do not constitute a defect. Business customers must notify obvious defects within 7 days of delivery.

9. Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a right of withdrawal (see withdrawal policy). It does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and whose manufacture is determined by the consumer's individual choice (Sec. 312g (2) no. 1 German Civil Code). Custom-printed packaging falls under this exception.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

11. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is our registered office.
